Genesis

Away from the hustle and bustle of the main city, LK Hospital is located in Pallavaram. The hospital began its service in 1981 under the name Lakshmi Nursing Home, under the guidance and support of Dr. T.G. Govindarajan and his wife (late) Dr. Kamakshi Sundari. The couple has always put service to others before all else, and their managing of the hospital reflected the same. Even today, after three decades, the hospital is known for its commitment to patients and the compassionate dedication of every doctor and support staff. LNH has long since come to be synonymous with Care, Commitment and Assurance. The aim has always been to provide the finest health care to everybody.

Group Hospitals

LK Hospitals comes under the group hospitals founded and managed by Dr.T.G.Govindarajan– Founder, Chairman Dr.Kamakshi Memorial Hospitals. His years of service in the Health industry have earned him several accolades and awards. He is driven by the motto to provide health care services to everybody – no compromise on quality and no discrimination in treatment. Motivated by the loss of his beloved wife Dr. Kamakshi Sundari to cancer, he decided to ensure that complete, holistic cancer care must be made available and accessible to people in any socio-economic strata. Dr. T.G. Govindarajan is joined at the head of his group of hospitals by his daughter Dr. T.G. Sivaranjini Govindarajan. She is not only an exceptional and knowledgeable doctor, but she also shares her father’s vision to provide high-quality health care to everyone.

Patient Room Suite

Patients being treated at our hospital, who need to be constantly monitored are admitted to one of the many rooms/suites available. No matter what type of room the patient chooses, they have nurses and doctors close at hand for any kind of emergency or query. Patients can choose from a variety of options:

– Shared Stay – It’s dormitory with 6-10 beds, each separated by a screen and equipped with a resting recliner for the attender.

– Private Stay – This is an A/C room, with its own bathroom and an additional bed for the attender. The room is also provided with a television.

– Deluxe Stay – This is similar to the Private Stay, only bigger and comes equipped with its own refrigerator.

– Suite – This includes a luxurious A/C room and an additional room for the patient’s relatives. Other amenities include: two televisions, refrigerator, dining table, wi-fi and a wardrobe.

Ambulance

The Ambulance Service at LK Hospital is available to adults and children 24/7, 365 days a year.

– Our drivers are trained to transport patients to and from the hospital with utmost safety.

Admission

Patients are admitted based on recommendations by their attending physician or if they are having a medical emergency. Either way, the hospital will require certain details/documents upon admission:

– Complete Medical History which includes any medical reports & records

– Health Insurance Details

– Information on allergies

– Emergency Contact Details

– Extra-clothes & toiletries

Discharge

Patients will be discharged only after the attending doctor gives the green signal. Things to keep in mind at the time of discharge:

– Ensure you are handed a comprehensive discharge summary

– Ensure you and your caretaker is aware of the medications you require

– Ask your doctor about follow-ups

– Get a detailed bill

Billing & Insurance

Make all payments on time. Our billing process is transparent and we hope to keep it stress-free as well. If you need financial aid, please discuss the same with your insurance provider right at the time of admission. You can also discuss with our Financial Assistance team about payment plans. Amenities

Our hospital offers spacious rooms for in-patients – that can be private or shared, depending on availability and personal preference. A/C rooms and non-A/C rooms are available. The rooms are designed to accommodate attendants and visitors. In-patients are provided a healthy diet, their attendants can avail of the food in the cafeteria that is just as healthy and hygienically prepared. In-patients can even opt for rooms that have a television for their entertainment.

Visiting hours

In-patients can have visitors, but only during visiting hours. Patients in the ICU can have visitors only if permitted by their doctor, and preferably only one at a time. It is essential to follow these visiting rules that have been established keeping in mind the health and safety of recuperating patients. Visiting hours:
