Preventive Health Care

Preventive Care is all about testing ahead for specific medical conditions, even before they inflict the patient. Early diagnosis, in most cases, gives you a better chance of recovery even for certain types of cancer.

Who should do a Health Check-up? Actually, anybody can. However, there are some factors that make it more important for certain individuals. For example women over the age of 40 must get a mammogram that can help detect Breast Cancer while men of that age can check for Prostate Cancer. In both these scenarios, Age plays a significant role. However, if you have a family history of cancer or any other chronic disease, find out from your family physician if a test is required to check for the same.
